Glass Slipper Pictures is 100% Female and Black-Owned Company. GSP is a T.V., film, subscription, and non-subscription streaming distribution and production company. We democratize and maximize the revenue potential for female-driven content and the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community.

We offer indie-filmmakers without a studio distribution deal, pre-sale, or other means of financing with distribution over a plethora of global platforms using our exclusive partnerships.

Underserved creators and filmmakers bleed cultural capital. We at Glass Slipper Pictures are dedicated to tackling the status quo and breaking conventional film distribution and production rules while ensuring honest royalties. We are a collective of creators, curators, and cultural influencers.

Shondrella Avery, a BFA graduate, exited the corporate world as a fortune 500 C-level manager to pursue her dream of the entertainment industry.

Her first notable role right after the departure was as Lafawnduh in the cult classic Napoleon Dynamite. Avery, an accomplished Comedienne, was a season regular on TV shows such as Girls Behaving Badly, One on One, and Cuts and stared in a plethora of other TV shows. Shondrella also appeared in a string of hits movies such as Tony Scott’s “De Ja Vu” with Denzel Washington, Gina Prince-Bythewood, Secret Life of Bees, and David Ayer’s End of Watch with Jake Gyllenhall.

After ten years of being in the industry, Shondrella transitioned to becoming an Actor/Producer, producing over 15 movies, one of which was in Oscar consideration with Executive Producer Spike Lee, Son of the South.

Shondrella Avery is with SAG and PGA unions. Glass Slipper Pictures has partnered with Homestead Entertainment for worldwide distribution.

Dylan Mooney  is an American-born actor, producer and entrepreneur from central-California.

After graduating from Cal-State L.A. in 2007 with a theater arts & dance major he began his professional career as an actor and later branched out to work behind the scenes in film & TV distribution.

Dylan met the CEO & owner Shondrella Avery back in 2015, when he was hired by Avery (executive producer) to perform in an Indy-Pilot she was producing, and the two have been close ever since.

His knack for the filmmaking process overall has brought a tremendous amount of experience to Glass Slipper Pictures. As vice president of development, Dylan’s focus is to highlight the BIPOC filmmaker space by acquiring, as well as developing content from people of color and providing them with opportunities that normally aren’t readily available to them.

He is also currently recurring on the hit BET+ series The Family Business as the corrupt and ruthless Detective ‘Dez Bryant,’ and just wrapped a supporting role on a major motion picture starring Eric Roberts & Jessie Metcalf.

In addition to his work as an actor and in the distribution space, he is also the CEO and co-owner, along with Avery, of an app called Actor Trade, which is the world’s first free, live-rehearsal app for actors that has surpassed over 25k users worldwide. The company has been featured in major magazines including Variety, as well as the L.A. Business Journal.
